Gary Floyd

Throughout his career, he’s been a totally inept chemist, a decent salesman, an impressive semi-professional musician, an able purchasing agent, a no-nonsense operations manager, and a successful entrepreneur.  Starting at age nine, Gary spent twelve summers in northeastern Pennsylvania among the youth of Philadelphia’s suburban elite (from whence many of his camp stories come.)  A slow westward migration included stops in Dallas and Los Angeles, before finally settling in Seattle, WA.  Soaking up these distinctly unique cultures and experiences has added much perspective to his own life adventures; thus, the basis for this most colorful and revealing memoir. Gary works with Blue Forge Press.

Whataya Gonna Do book cover shows an apartment building superimposed with two pictures of the author, Gary Floyd. In one he wears a child's baseball cap and has a naive, guilty expression, while in the other he wears an old-fashioned brimmed hat and is glaring at the other picture with an exaggerated angry face.
