Lauri Boren

Lauri Boren, raised in Washington, navigated the ins and outs of suburban life, and earned a doctorate in terror, like every middle school survivor. Working as a school bus driver enriched that understanding, if understanding is possible. After forty years of teaching mostly preteens, she’s fully accredited in the concept of horror. Living on the edge of a primordial woodland was disappointing. Lauri has a Masters, a BA and far too many credits in professional development in-services. She now studies Mindful Doglish, while she tutors her dogs and cat as they pursue advanced degrees in quantum physics, evolutionary microbiology and genealogy, respectively. Lauri works with Blue Forge Press.
